The details of Barcelona star Raphinha’s furious rant at the linesman during the club’s most recent outing have on Monday surfaced online.

Raphinha, for those who may have missed it, grabbed the headlines on Saturday night, for altogether less than positive reasons.

After Barcelona were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw by Real Betis, the Brazilian allowed his emotions to get the better of him.

Raphinha was spotted in a furious tirade against the team of officials, forcing teammates Robert Lewandowski and Marc-André ter Stegen, and even manager Hansi Flick to intervene.

Linesman Martínez Nicolás was the main target of the former Leeds United man’s anger, with a heated back-and-forth between the pair having begun late in the 90, before continuing beyond the full-time whistle.

And as alluded to above, on Monday, an insight into exactly what was said has been provided.

As per DAZN, Raphinha, after seeing a thrown-in go in favour of Real Betis, ranted:

“It’s over there, damn it. What are you saying? Shut up. You don’t tell me to shut up, I’m not going to shut up. The last time you told me to shut up. What do you think you’re doing? You son of a bitch!”

From here, Martínez Nicolás responded with:

“Don’t shout at me, don’t shout at me,” to which Raphinha, again suggesting that the official had told him to ‘shut up,’ hit back:

“You’re rude, don’t tell me to shut up!”
