Arsenal youngster Nathan Butler-Oyedeji has received his second nomination of the season for the Premier League 2’s Player of the Month award.
Butler-Oyedeji already won the award in August, but he’s now been nominated for the October accolade.
The Arsenal winger joins Hazeem Bakre (Middlesbrough), Daniel Cameron and Harrison Jones (Sunderland), Kiano Dyer (Chelsea), Emilio Lawrence (Manchester City), Jeremiah Okine-Peters (Reading), and Caylan Wickers (Brighton) in the running this time.
Butler-Oyedeji earned his nomination with a hat-trick of assists against Blackburn Rovers on Monday, October 28th.
The winger set up Salah-Eddine Oulad M’Hand’s opening goal in the 21st minute, then assisted the same player again at the start of the second half. He completed his assist hat-trick by creating Andre Harriman-Annous’ goal in the 75th minute.
That was the only game Butler-Oyedeji played in the Premier League 2 in October, having missed the match against Spurs earlier in the month. But he did score in the EFL Trophy against MK Dons that same week.

In all, Butler-Oyedeji has six goals and five assists in eight matches this season, a fantastic record that makes him a deserving recipient of two Player of the Month nominations and one win – so far.
There’s no public voting for this award, so we’ll just have to see who the Premier League Football Development Panel decide to give it to next week.
