Barcelona transfer target’s summer exit ‘can’t be ruled out’ | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona could find themselves in luck when it comes to a long-time transfer target this coming summer.

That’s according to Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, who have this weekend provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes at Serie A heavyweights AC Milan.

The brass at San Siro, it is understood, are increasingly open to parting with star winger Rafael Leão over the months ahead.

As per GdS:

‘The departure of Leão should not be ruled out, especially if an offer deemed appropriate arrives. And by “appropriate” we do not mean the entire amount of the €175 million termination clause.’

It is of course common knowledge that those in a position of power at Barcelona are long-time admirers of Leão’s talents.

Still on the lookout for reinforcements in the attacking third with a view to next season, a fresh Blaugrana swoop for the Portuguese this summer therefore looks a real possibility.
