Barcelona’s ‘dream’ signing confirmed | OneFootball

The powers that be at La Liga giants Barcelona have long identified Manchester City star Erling Haaland as the club’s ‘dream’ signing.

That’s according to transfer insider Florian Plettenberg, who has on Friday provided an insight into the situation.

The brass at the Camp Nou, it is understood, are on the lookout for long-term reinforcements at centre-forward at present.

This comes with Robert Lewandowski – the Blaugrana’s current leading striker option – set to turn 37 next summer.

A whole host of attackers from across the continent, in turn, have been tipped as potential arrivals in Catalunya’s capital at some point over the seasons ahead.

As alluded to above, though, one option has stood as the ‘dream’ of Joan Laporta and co. throughout.

As per Florian Plettenberg:

‘Man City’s Erling Haaland is FC Barcelona’s dream transfer, confirmed.’

The Blaugrana transfer team are not currently pursuing the move, in the knowledge that, in the summer of 2025, Haaland’s signing ‘is unrealistic’.

But, beyond as much, it is suggested that the Manchester City goalscorer making his way to Barcelona in ‘two to three years’ is not at all out of the question.
