Barcelona’s dressing room turned into a joyful madhouse after their 2-0 triumph over Espanyol confirmed a historic 28th La Liga title, but the celebrations were not confined to just the stadium.

Hansi Flick, the mastermind behind Barça’s resurgence, could barely contain his excitement, quote literally. At one point, the German coach almost hit the ceiling as players lifted him high into the air in wild jubilation.

Flick, usually calm and calculated, let loose like a child, laughing and basking in the moment as his squad honoured him for steering the club back to the summit of Spanish football.

Surrounded by club president Joan Laporta and vice president Rafa Yuste, the post-match festivities were packed with iconic scenes.

Beers were passed around, music echoed, and in a moment that stole social media attention, Wojciech Szczesny was seen puffing a cigar.

FC Barcelona’s official account even shared a photo of the Polish goalkeeper blowing cigar smoke, a symbol of dominance and celebration rolled into one.

But what truly set Barça’s celebration apart was the sense of unity and how the team went out of its way to include everyone, even those who couldn’t be on the pitch.

Ferran Torres gets a call

Ferran Torres, recovering from emergency appendicitis surgery, watched the decisive match from a hospital bed. Despite being confined to his room at Barcelona Hospital, Ferran did not miss out.

Veteran defender Inigo Martinez, suspended for the match due to yellow card accumulation, made sure his teammate felt part of the victory. Shortly after the final whistle, he video-called Ferran directly from the jubilant locker room.

Barça’s media team even captured the touching moment, showing Ferran’s smiling face on Inigo’s phone screen while the team roared around them.

But it did not stop there.

A casual stroll in the middle of the night

In a truly surreal yet heart-warming moment, Pedri, Inigo Martinez, Dani Olmo, and Eric Garcia literally hopped on bicycles and rode through the city, still in their party attire, to visit the recovering forward in the hospital.

It was spontaneous, silly, and sincere, embodying everything this Barça squad has become under Flick: not just a team, but a family.

This was not just a celebration of winning a league title, it was a reminder of the values that define Barcelona at its best. Togetherness, passion, humility, and joy. The kind of spirit that can’t be bought, only built.

From Flick’s skyward leap, to Szczesny’s Michael Jordan-esque swagger, to four players pedalling to the hospital with smiles and probably some leftover beer, this was a title party for the ages and a clear message that something truly special is growing again at Camp Nou.
