Bianconere called up to their National Teams

After the Juventus Women's First Team's goalless draw away at Inter on Serie A Matchday 7, a number of Bianconere - 24 to be precise, including the underage internationals - have now headed away on international duty for this October window.

Let's take a closer look at the call-ups, and what awaits our Bianconere in the next couple of weeks.

THE CALL-UPS

Canada – One player (Lysianne Proulx): Lysianne and Canada have a friendly in Spain, taking on the European champions.

Denmark – One (Amalie Vangsgaard): Two friendlies await Amalie and Denmark, first facing South Africa and then The Netherlands.

France – Two (Pauline Peyraud-Magnin, Estelle Cascarino): Like Denmark, France have two friendlies this month against Jamaica and Switzerland, which will see a Bianconere reunion with two players on either side.

Italy - Nine (Chiara Beccari, Valentina Bergamaschi, Lisa Boattin, Barbara Bonansea, Sofia Cantore, Arianna Caruso, Cristiana Girelli, Martina Lenzini, Eva Schatzer): Malta and Spain will be the Azzurre’s friendly opposition.

Sweden - Two (Hanna Bennison, Emma Kullberg): Our Swedes are in competitive action this month, with a double-header against Luxembourg for qualification for the 2025 European Championship in Switzerland on the line.

Switzerland – Two (Viola Calligaris, Alisha Lehmann): First up is Austria, then another friendly against France.

Italy Under-19s – Six (Carolina Bertora, Martina Cocino, Eleonora Ferraresi, Azzurra Gallo, Emma Mustafic, Martina Tosello): Three games await the Italy U19s, facing Portugal, Czechia and Denmark in a friendly tournament.

Sweden U19s - One (Elsa Pelgander): As is the case for many of our Bianconere, Elsa and Sweden’s U19s face two friendlies - both against Finland, both away from home.
