The Thomas Tuchel era is up and running, and if the German's post-match comments on Friday were anything to go by, we can expect to see plenty more from the Three Lions on Monday night.

England were impressive against a modest Albania side on the new manager's bow, with a 2-0 victory ensuring their 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign got off to the best possible start.

A first-ever encounter with the world's 141st-ranked footballing nation is up next for Tuchel's Three Lions, with the contest allowing the new boss to test the extremities of his squad.

There are bound to be changes to the starting XI from Friday's win, and here's how England could line up for qualifier number two against Latvia.

GK: Dean Henderson - Jordan Pickford should remain England's number one, but Henderson has had an excellent season at Crystal Palace and deserves to earn another cap.

RB: Reece James - We don't need to see Kyle Walker again on Monday night. James' injury woes have limited his international career, but there's a chance for the Chelsea skipper to assert himself under his former boss.

CB: Marc Guehi - Ezri Konsa was brilliant last time out and has stated his case to the manager. Monday should be Guehi's chance to impress.

CB: Levi Colwill - Dan Burn got his cap, but the 32-year-old defender may join the not-so-illustrious one-cap wonder crew. There should be a complete switch at centre-back for Latvia's visit, with Colwill poised to partner Guehi.

LB: Myles Lewis-Skelly - The 18-year-old enjoyed the perfect England debut, and Tuchel spoke glowingly of him post-match. Tino Livramento should earn minutes, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see Lewis-Skelly retained.

CM: Declan Rice - The Arsenal midfielder is expected to remain a lynchpin for the Three Lions, and he could also retain his place.

CM: Curtis Jones - Jones started alongside Rice on Friday, and the new manager must've been pleased with the midfield dynamic. The Liverpool star supplies press resistance and an unrelenting work ethic in the middle of the park.

RW: Jarrod Bowen - Tuchel was critical of England's wingers against Albania, so we have to expect a switch. With Phil Foden dropping out, Bowen is the obvious replacement.

AM: Jude Bellingham - Friday's victory provided further proof that Tuchel's England must be built around Jude Bellingham.

LW: Marcus Rashford - Anthony Gordon surely would've made the XI on Monday hadn't he withdrawn from camp after suffering a hip injury. Tuchel could use Eberechi Eze or Morgan Rogers down the left, but Rashford remains the best option for the role despite his performance on Friday. Eze and Rogers should earn minutes off the bench.

ST: Harry Kane - Kane sealed England's victory with his 70th international goal, and he'll be keen to veer closer to 100 against Latvia. The striker so often cashes in on such occasions.
