An exclusive report has given an update late last night on Cole Palmer’s injury ahead of our next game against Tottenham next week.
Palmer has been suffering with a muscle injury and was forced to pull out of England duty missing the first two matches under Thomas Tuchel.
The attacking midfielder has since been for two scans. As we exclusively reported on this site, the first scan came back all clear but it needed then a second scan to try and find the source of the pain that was still there in his hamstrings.
This news was then backed up by other reliable reports who also said Palmer was then going back in for a second scan.
As we then exclusively reported on this site once again, there was nothing showing up on Palmer’s second scan bit again, the pain was still there. Palmer then headed to Dubai to do recovery work with a specialist but there was hope he can make the Tottenham game at that point, as reported by other outlets too.

The Chelsea talisman is still yet to return to training, meaning that the club are now sweating on his return in time for the Tottenham game, The Daily Mail report.
They say that Palmer has not trained with team-mates since picking up his muscular problem before the international break, leaving Chelsea sweating on their playmaker’s availability for next week’s showdown with arch rivals Tottenham.
They even confirm again that there was initially optimism surrounding Palmer’s issue, even as he was sent for a second scan at the start of the international break.
So we now have to wait and see as Chelsea are expected to make a late call on Palmer ahead of the Spurs match next Thursday night.
