Eredivisie side Feyenoord’s Santiago Gimenez keen on Milan transfer.
According to a report by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are finding ways to pay Feyenoord’s asking price for Santiago Gimenez as the player is expected to request a transfer soon.
The Rossoneri are aware that the Dutch side will not lower their demand for the Mexican from €40 million and therefore are hoping to send an offer which would contain payment in parts and bonuses contingent upon the achievement of certain objectives.
Milan have Gimenez on their shortlist since last summer and they went to land Tammy Abraham on a loan deal from Roma when they could not match Feyenoord’s asking price. Pairing Alvaro Morata with the 23-year-old at the front is one of the club’s main goals for next season.
Milan are yet to initiate talks with the Rotterdam-based club and they are expected to negotiate to decrease the value of the player.
