It's time to question the commitment of these Leicester stars

On Thursday night, Leicester City lost with a whimper versus West Ham United at London Stadium. To be honest, and not for the first time this season, the east Midlanders were embarrassed. But at least in other losses the Foxes actually threatened the opposition defence. In previous defeats which were still hard to take, the Leicester side were able to exhibit a bit of passion or determination to get out of their dire position.
However against the Hammers, City were pathetically impotent. The most common word associated with LCFC's atrocious display in the English capital from yesterday evening is 'passive'. To be fair, the King Power squad have an almost totally impassive manager in Ruud van Nistelrooy anyway. Therefore the two negative factors complement each other badly.
A weak and acquiescent City performance which is absolutely unacceptable anywhere near this elite level of sport. Like I alluded to previously, I don't think retiring and overly measured head coaches like the Dutchman are suited to relegation battles, or confrontations of any description. You really need a Brian Clough, or even the Nigel Pearson type.
Leicester failed to really trouble West Ham's goalkeeper realistically. Only two shots on target were managed, disappointingly. Very sadly and uncommonly, it is now time to question the commitment of some Leicester stars too. I'll name and shame a couple of Foxes who seem to already be 'on the beach' for their undeserved summer holidays. More precisely, they appear relegated to the Championship at this point!
Former Fox Robbie Savage savaged Jannik Vestergaard on TNT for not trying hard enough to block the first conceded goal. The centre back's lack of effort and devotion was, in fact, questionable for both of WHUFC's finishes.
Wilfred Ndidi and Boubakary Soumare are usually reliable. But the pair were either exhausted or incorrectly consider us down at this stage. Ndidi improved later on.
