Despite the recent positive updates, Lazio have yet to reach the finish line in their quest to land Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei.

Nevertheless, he expects this saga to be unravelled – one way or the other – soon enough.

Lazio have obviously pinpointed Casadei as their main target to enhance the middle of the park, as evidenced by their vigorous desire to secure his signature. But if they were to miss out on the 22-year-old, they will certainly bring in another new midfielder, especially after parting ways with Gaetano Castrovilli who is currently finalizing his loan move to Monza.
