Leroy Sané’s departure from Bayern Munich draws nearer | OneFootball

Leroy Sané’s departure from FC Bayern Munich is reportedly drawing nearer. Kicker currently confirms reports from both Sky Germany and Sport Bild concerning the state of Sané’s contract negotiations with his current Bundesliga club.

The likelihood of Sané accepting an offer that would see him take a significant pay cut after the 29-year-old opted to install Pini Zahavi as his new agent. Zahavi – who also represented Robert Lewandwoski and David Alaba – does not maintain cordial relations with the German giants.

Long-time FCB steward Uli Hoeneß once referred to Zahavi as a “greedy piranha” in the midst of negotiations with Alaba in November 2020. Sané’s switch to Zahavi effectively rendered the Bayern offer null and void. Kicker notes that a new offer has not been prepared.

Sané’s fine recent form will surely see plenty of clubs interesting in snapping the 69-times-capped international up on a free. A return to the Premier League isn’t out of the question for the former Manchester City professional. London clubs Arsenal and Chelsea are said to be interested.
