Paris Saint-Germain will closely monitor Hugo Ekitike’s potential transfer to Eintracht Frankfurt, as the club is set to receive a percentage of the transfer fee.
A previous report from CaughtOffside reveals that Newcastle are eyeing Ekitike as a possible replacement for Alexander Isak. The club had shown interest in the forward during his time at PSG.
PSG hold a 20 percent sell-on clause for any future transfer, meaning they stand to benefit from Ekitike’s next move. While Newcastle is tracking the talented striker, another Premier League club is also showing interest.

Liverpool’s interest in Ekitike reportedly remains strong – and it’s unlikely to change if they miss out on Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak.
According to the Daily Mail, the Reds’ scouts have been keeping a close eye on Ekitike for some time. The report notes that the 6-foot-3 French forward would be a tough opponent in aerial duels.
Moreover, the article claims that Ekitike’s ‘wiry frame’ shouldn’t fool Liverpool or any interested club, especially since Isak has a similar build and has excelled at Newcastle.
The France Under-21 international is reportedly valued at €80 million (£67 million) by his Bundesliga club, making him a costly option, though he would likely be cheaper than Isak.
