Manchester United targeting a loan move for Mathys Tel | OneFootball

According to The Athletic, Manchester United are considering a potential move for Mathys Tel (19) from Bayern Munich if the Frenchman is made available for a loan move by his parent club. The 19-year-old has decided to leave the Bundesliga giants in the final days of the transfer window due to a lack of playing time and opportunities.

The Premier League club have not opened discussions with the Munich side as they focus on departures. However, if a loan move was feasible before the end of the window, it is an opportunity the Red Devils would likely pursue. United have established contact with Tel’s entourage to gauge his interest in a potential loan move to Old Trafford.

Tel is an option as Ruben Amorim remains keen to bolster his forward options before Friday’s deadline.  A potential departure of Marcus Rashford or Alejandro Garnacho, who have both been linked with moves away, could prompt the Manchester side to open talks with Bayern Munich.
