AC Milan head coach Sergio Conceicao seemingly hopes to throw in a couple of new signings in the first available game, according to a report.
According to the latest from MilanNews, Conceicao has moved training to tomorrow afternoon to have all the new players – including Santiago Gimenez and Joao Felix – immediately available and to work with them in preparation for the match against Roma.
As a reminder, Gimenez was announced earlier as a new signing, joining from Feyenoord on a deal running until 2029. His arrival came after Alvaro Morata sealed a loan switch to Galatasaray, which made it one in one out for the centre-forward role.
In addition to the Mexico international, Milan have agreed a deadline day loan move for Joao Felix. The Portuguese is set to arrive from Chelsea, and even though the official announcement has not come yet, it is expected that everything will be done in time.
it is a clear ploy from Conceicao to try and get the new players integrated as quickly as possible, especially with a Coppa Italia quarter-final against Roma on Wednesday night to come. It remains to be seen what the plan is for Warren Bondo, who is expected to arrive from Monza.
