Official: Barcelona learn their opponents for the Copa del Rey semi-finals | OneFootball

The draw for the 2024/25 Copa del Rey semi-finals took place today at the Ciudad del Futbol Las Rozas and Barcelona have now learned who they will be facing in the final four.

The Blaugrana entered the draw with the possibility of facing historic rivals Real Madrid, Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid, or Real Sociedad in the semi-finals.

Now, it has been confirmed that Hansi Flick & co. will have to win against Atletico Madrid to secure a spot in the finals.

Barcelona made it this far in the competition after seeing off UD Barbastro, Real Betis, and Valencia, securing comfortable victories in each of the matches.

The Catalans have been on fire in the cup competition and will be looking to emulate those performances against Atletico Madrid.

The semi-finals are the only round of the entire Copa del Rey that will be played over two legs. The first leg is scheduled for the week of February 26; while the return leg is scheduled for April 2. The two winners will meet in the grand final on April 26.

The first leg will be played at Montjuic and the reverse fixture will take place at the Metropolitano.
