One member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has played his part in every one of the club’s fixtures across all competitions thus far this season.

The player in question? Pedri.

Spanish international Pedri has of course enjoyed a superb individual campaign to date.

Having seemingly put his long-standing fitness problems firmly behind him, the 22-year-old has looked back to his brilliant best at the heart of new Blaugrana boss Hansi Flick’s midfield.

Whilst the likes of Raphinha and Lamine Yamal have so often stolen the headlines, many actually feel as though Pedri has been Barcelona’s most consistent performer in 2024/25.

And as alluded to above, Pedri’s importance to the cause in Catalunya’s capital certainly does not appear to be lost on boss Hansi Flick.

This comes with the German having called on his engine room star in at least some capacity in all of Barca’s 31 games this season.
