Former Milan coach Stefano Pioli could be heading back to Serie A sooner than expected for Roma, amid reports his Al Nassr experience is not going well.
The 59-year-old accepted the role with the Saudi Pro League side in September 2024, just a couple of months after he was released by Milan.
So far, he has overseen 21 victories, six draws and six defeats at Al Nassr.
However, Sportitalia pundit Gianluigi Longari claims that the situation is not going as planned and Pioli is ready to walk away this summer, even though he has a very lucrative contract.

Among the possible options for him is Roma, who are looking for a new coach after Claudio Ranieri heads back into retirement at the end of the season.
It would be a return to the Stadio Olimpico for Pioli, albeit on the other side, as he was in charge of Lazio from 2014 to 2016.
He won the Serie A title with Milan in 2022, but it remains the only silverware in his coaching career.
