Pisilli discusses his rapport with Claudio Ranieri | OneFootball

Roma midfielder Niccolo Pisilli spoke to reporters in his post-match presser following the team’s win over Fiorentina.

After the game, the youngster was asked about the tight Champions League race Roma are currently in.

“We’re coming off a very positive moment, especially these last two victories are very important for us on a mental level,” said Pisilli.

“The coach has always told us that the strongest horses are seen at the end, so we must be good at giving everything in this final part of the season in order to avoid having any regrets.”

“Today I went on the pitch and tried to do what the coach asked of me. I went there to give everything I had.”

“Ranieri helps me a lot. When he has something to tell me, he tells it to me calmly and with the utmost respect. Obviously, when he talks to me I listen to him 100%, because I can only learn from a person like that, for all the years he has spent in football, for the experience he has.”

“So, when he gives me advice, I really pay attention to everything he tells me. In those moments I go back and review the situation he is talking about and we compare notes, as happens with all the others.”
