This Tuesday marks the closing of the transfer window in Turkey, presenting Barcelona outcast Ansu Fati with his last opportunity to leave on loan until the end of the season.
The forward did not depart when most transfer windows in Europe closed on February 3, and now he faces this final chance to leave.
Several clubs from Turkey have shown interest in signing him, including Besiktas, but the player is not inclined to leave. Although there are still a few hours left, it seems increasingly unlikely that he will move.
A large part of this decision is influenced by the conversation Ansu had last week with Barcelona manager Hansi Flick, reports MARCA.
This latest exchange was to clearly explain his situation, with a remaining chance to move to a Turkish club.
In their conversation, the German coach was very clear with Ansu. He explained that his situation at the club is complicated due to the fierce competition from other players, many of whom are currently ahead of him in the pecking order.

Flick also acknowledged that Ansu had improved in recent days, but that it was still not enough. He urged him to continue working hard if he ultimately decides to stay at Barcelona.
“If you keep working like this and improving, you will have your opportunity,” Flick told Ansu.
It was an honest conversation, as the coach himself mentioned, where he laid out the situation as it was.
Barcelona have always believed that the best option for Fati would be to go on loan to another team, but they have not actively sought a destination for him.
When other clubs expressed interest, the Blaugrana sporting management always referred them to Jorge Mendes, the player’s agent, as they believed it was a decision for the player, who still has a contract with the club.
But with Fati reluctant to leave, a deadline-day move to Turkey appears unlikely and if he continues to work hard, there may still be a chance of him getting an opportunity under Flick.
