Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has spoken again, and he says one Chelsea player has a chance to change his future this season.

The Blues are expected to be busy now this summer, and we have had plenty of updates floating around this week.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has put out his latest YouTube video at the weekend with a bunch of info in that. The main takeaway was Romano saying Chelsea are going to be in the market for a new striker, a centre back, and a winger in the summer.

And there has also been a lot of noise regarding Jadon Sancho and whether Chelsea will actually be signing him from Manchester United permanently in the summer or not. The Athletic are reporting that there is a £5m break clause fee that Chelsea can pay to send him back and terminate the loan obligation to buy.

And there has been more noise coming out about Sancho as well, with Fabrizio Romano writing some more updates for GIVEMESPORT this week.

Sancho to fight for Chelsea future

On Chelsea’s decision to keep Sancho or return him to Manchester United, Romano said:

“It depends how he goes in these final games. The impact of Jadon Sancho in these final games can really change his future.

“If he’s going to make a big impact, I think it’s going to be obviously a good opportunity for Chelsea to pay the money – £25million – and get the player on a permanent transfer.

“Otherwise, I think there is still a possibility for them to change their mind and send him back to Manchester United.

“What I can guarantee is that, in general, I don’t see Jadon Sancho playing for Manchester United next season – so eventually, even if he comes back to United, the expectation is for Sancho to leave and try maybe a new chapter elsewhere.”
