SWPL: Wilma Forsblom departs Glasgow City | OneFootball

Glasgow City have announced that Finnish midfielder Wilma Forsblom has departed the club.

Signed in January 2024 from Finnish treble winner KuPs, Forsblom spent 13 months playing with The Original Trailblazers. During her time in Scotland, she made 21 appearances for City, and scored on five occasions, including in the 2-0 win against Partick Thistle earlier this season.

On the international stage, Forsblom has represented Finland at U17, U19, and currently at the U23 level. Whilst playing for the U23s, the midfielder has achieved ten caps and scored seven goals during this time.

“Everyone at the club wishes Wilma the very best in her next chapter. We look forward to following her progress in the months and years to come and she will always be welcome whenever she returns to the city we call home,” Glasgow City said following the news of her departure.
