Former Barcelona star Thierry Henry has moved to reveal his appreciation for the ongoing efforts of the Blaugrana’s current crop of players.

Barcelona are of course fresh off another dominant victory on Sunday night.

Fresh off a five-goal drubbing of Valencia in the Copa del Rey, the Blaugrana turned attentions back towards matters in La Liga, in a meeting with Sevilla.

And when all was said and done, Hansi Flick’s troops, again, got the job done in style, triumphing by four goals to one.

One individual, meanwhile, who could not help but be impressed by the performance put forth by Barca’s stars was the aforementioned Thierry Henry.

Speaking in quotes gathered by Mundo Deportivo in the aftermath of Sunday’s clash, ex-frontman Henry lavished praise on Flick’s side:

“With this mentality, there is no doubt that Barça will be the champions of La Liga this season.

“Barcelona plays with the spirit of a champion, they know when to press, when to attack, and when to finish the match in their favour. This is the Barcelona that everyone fears.”
