Two Barcelona stars have improved their ‘cold relationship’ this season | OneFootball

Barcelona pair Robert Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal have seen their relationship take a turn for the better across the season to date.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Tuesday provided an insight into the situation.

The understanding is that, last season, wide-man Lamine’s breakout one in senior football, he and Lewandowski butted heads on more than one occasion.

As much gave rise to something of a ‘cold relationship’, an awkward situation for two of the most important members of the Blaugrana’s squad.

Over the course of the summer, and the early weeks of 2024/25, however, the bond between the pair has undergone something of a transformation.

As per the aforementioned Sport, under the watch of new head coach Hansi Flick:

‘Lewandowski’s somewhat cold relationship with Lamine Yamal last season has disappeared and the two now seem more comfortable with each other than ever.’

As much has certainly been evident on the pitch, with Barcelona’s two attacking stars having combined to devastating effect thus far this season.
