Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal could not hide his frustration, after being hauled off during the club’s La Liga meeting with Deportivo Alavés over the weekend.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Tuesday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.

Barcelona, of course, are fresh off making it eight wins from nine to open the La Liga campaign on Sunday.

Owing to a Robert Lewandowski hat-trick, the Blaugrana ultimately emerged on the right side of a 3-0 result in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

En route to as much, the aforementioned Lamine was in from the off once more, featuring from his customary role on the right flank.

Midway through the 2nd-half, with the result all but decided, however, boss Flick made the call to haul his young winger off.

And, as per the aforementioned Sport, as much did not go down at all well with Lamine himself:

‘The young Barça star is having a hard time accepting that he must be patient and accept that he cannot play every minute for his own good.’

After taking his place on the bench at Mendizorroza, Lamine, in turn, was ‘angered’, albeit before calming down shortly after amid advice on the part of his teammates.
