Nicola Zalewski seems to have found his ideal dimension.
Since leaving Rome and embracing the Nerazzurri project, the Polish winger has shown clear signs of rebirth.
But it was above all the change of role desired by Simone Inzaghi that brought out a new version of the player who grew up in Trigoria.
Initially inserted into the mechanisms of Inter with caution, Zalewski accelerated the integration process after the switch to 3-4-2-1.
In this set-up, acting behind the central striker, the Polish winger showed off his best qualities: speed, dribbling, ability to create numerical superiority.
As highlighted by Tuttosport, his impact surprised even the most skeptical, convincing the technical staff and management to focus decisively on him.
Despite arriving late in the season, his performance has been consistent and positive, so much so that he represents an extra weapon in view of the final in Munich.
Zalewski is seen as a potential “revulsive”, an offensive option useful to change the face of the game in key moments.
Confirming Inter’s confidence is also the intention to proceed with the redemption at the end of the season: the price has already been set with Roma at 6.5 million euros.
