Paris Saint-Germain’s decision to part ways with Randal Kolo Muani means the club will be on the hunt for a new No. 9 to pair with Gonçalo Ramos in attack, whether that happens in January or next summer.
Kolo Muani has only played 453 minutes this season, mainly as a substitute. He has now moved to Juventus, though the official announcement is still pending. Regardless, PSG will need to find a striker to challenge Ramos in the near future.
One potential target for the club is Juventus striker Dušan Vlahović. According to a recent report from CaughtOffside, Juventus is expected to discuss Vlahović’s future in February, with the Serbian forward valued at around €65 million. Vlahović has yet to sign a new contract.
Arsenal and Manchester United are also reportedly interested in him, and now PSG has joined the list of clubs keeping an eye on his situation.

Football Transfers reports that Arsenal’s effort to sign Vlahović this month have fallen through. The Gunners were looking to add a new striker to their squad, especially given their struggles in front of goal and Gabriel Jesus’ recent ACL injury. However, it now seems unlikely that Vlahović will be joining Arsenal anytime soon.
While the report doesn’t specify the reasons for the breakdown, it’s possible that the player’s wages played a role. Vlahović is the highest-paid player in Serie A, earning €12 million per season, and Arsenal might not be willing to meet those demands.
