Spanish news outlet SPORT has reported that Dusan Vlahovic, the striker for Juventus, has been offered to Barcelona in the ongoing transfer window. Arsenal have been interested in the talismanic striker for long, but it seems like Barcelona can now have an opportunity to bring him to their club.

The Serbian striker moved to Juventus for Fiorentina for €80 million in the summer transfer window of 2022. He was sensational for Fiorentina and was rated as one of the best strikers in the league. However, the Serbian has been inconsistent with his performances during his tenure in Turin.

He has appeared in 17 matches this season in Serie A, playing a total of 1333 minutes. Dušan Vlahović scores an average of 0.47 goals for every 90 minutes that the player is on the pitch. This attacking performance currently places him at 19th out of 384 Serie A Players who’ve played at least three matches.

Dusan Vlahovic’s total G/A (goals + assists) is eight for this season. His goal involvement equates to 0.54 per 90 minutes. His non-penalty xG per 90 minutes is 0.36. This puts Dusan Vlahovic’s npxG output at 5.27, which puts him in the top 91 percentile of Serie A players. It is quite good but hasn’t been the consistency that Juventus would have liked.

However, the Serbian striker is still liked by many high-profile clubs. The Catalan club has meanwhile been offered the opportunity to sign him. Robert Lewandowski has been going strong for Barcelona still but has lacked the sharpness. The club needs a good replacement for the 36-year-old, and they have the opportunity to bring in Vlahovic.
