Paris Saint-Germain is shifting its transfer strategy to focus on young players who are just beginning to tap into their potential. This past summer, the club made strides by bringing in talents like Willian Pacho and João Neves, who fit this new approach.

Interestingly, despite the buzz surrounding several players, PSG chose not to pursue any forwards. Even with Kylian Mbappé’s departure, the club opted to give opportunities to others, such as Bradley Barcola, to step into key roles.

However, this doesn’t mean PSG won’t be on the lookout for forwards down the line. The outcomes of this season could lead sporting advisor Luis Campos to reassess the team’s attacking options.

In September, TEAMTalk reported that Liverpool plan to revamp their attack in 2025, with Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi on their radar. The report suggests that Dortmund is open to selling Adeyemi for less than €45 million.

Liverpool will face stiff competition for the young forward, as Juventus and PSG are also considering moves for him in 2025. Notably, PSG manager Luis Enrique is said to be a big fan of the 22-year-old, who is under contract until 2027.

Where does Chelsea stand in this race?

Football Insider reported on Saturday that Chelsea are eyeing a summer move for Adeyemi. While the Blues have an interest in the emerging Dortmund standout a move would only be possible if there are a ‘few departures’ at Stamford Bridge.

With new ownership, Chelsea has changed its transfer approach, focusing on acquiring top young talent from around the world and nurturing their development instead of signing players at the peak of their careers.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund is in no hurry to part with Adeyemi, as the winger is contracted to the club until 2027.
