Dean Huijsen looks set to join Real Madrid, pushing Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain to turn their attention to other defensive targets. A new report from Fabrizio Romano offers insight into the financial details that the Spanish side is offering to the club and player.

Even after signing Willian Pacho, the reigning French champions are still in the market for another center-back. With Milan Skriniar’s future uncertain, PSG may now be leaning toward a younger option with long-term upside.

CaughtOffside previously reported that several top clubs — including Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and PSG — have all been tracking the 20-year-old closely.

Huijsen has been turning heads in the Premier League and is already viewed as one of Europe’s most promising young defenders. If PSG decide to circle back, they’ll be entering a fierce race — and it won’t come cheap.

GIVE ME SPORT reports that Bournemouth expect Huijsen’s £50 million release clause to be activated this summer.
