Hansi Flick still has ‘one doubt’ for starting XI vs Inter Milan | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick is yet to come to a final decision on the player to occupy one particular spot in his line-up to face Inter Milan on Tuesday evening.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards such doubts coming at left-back.

Barcelona are of course without first-choice left-back Alejandro Balde at present, owing to injury.

Last week, in his side’s Champions League semi-final opener against the aforementioned Inter Milan, Hansi Flick opted for Gerard Martín to fill the role.

The Spaniard, however, was hooked at half-time, pushing Iñigo Martínez to a full-back role, and Ronald Araújo back into the heart of defence.

And if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then the one lingering doubt in the mind of Barca boss Flick for his XI at San Siro comes in the form of the debate between these two setups.

The Blaugrana’s backline to face Italian champions Inter will therefore consist of one of the following:

Eric García – Pau Cubarsí – Iñigo Martínez – Gerard Martín

Eric García – Ronald Araújo – Pau Cubarsí – Iñigo Martínez
