Bayern Munich suffered an injury blow in their 3-0 Champions League defeat to Feyenoord on Wednesday as Alphonso Davies was forced off with a muscle problem.
The injury, coupled with Konrad Laimer's suspension, means Bayern coach Vincent Kompany will be without two full-backs for Saturday's trip to Freiburg.
Raphael Guerreiro looks set to start at left-back, but the big question is who will start on the right.
Josip Stanisic and Sacha Boey are still not 100 percent after returning from injury, and unless one of them is deemed ready to start, Joshua Kimmich could be moved to right-back, with Aleksandar Pavlovic and Leon Goretzka pairing up in midfield.
“The guys have only done recovery so far. We've got final training later. Then we'll know more. Phonzy is injured, Konrad Laimer is suspended. Joao Palhinha and Sacha Boey could come into the equation. We need to see how the others react,” said Bayern coach Vincent Kompany on Friday, giving an update on his team.
"We've got two full-backs out of this game. We've got options, have a broad squad. Not every player had the same level of practice after the break. We need to think about things."
The game will kick off on Saturday at 15:30 CET.
