Leeds United are reportedly linked with Dynamo Kyiv striker Vladyslav Vanat, who is also a target for Fulham.
Championship winners Leeds United will be going up against one of their Premier League rivals next season, Fulham, in the race to sign talented Ukrainian striker Vladyslav Vanat.
Vanat, who is 23, currently plies his trade for Ukrainian giants Dynamo Kyiv and is a full international for his country. With 21 goals and eight assists in just 43 games this season for Dynamo, he is a player in form.
This form has led to interest from Leeds and Fulham, according to Sport.ua, who reported that a source from the Ideal Dynamo Telegram page had confirmed it.
He has 11 appearances for the Ukraine national team, with two goals, which includes one scored against Belgium in March of this year.
Also, someone who has played in Dynamo's Europa League campaign, Vanat has already played on some big stages at domestic and international level.
Sport.ua have also reported that any potential transfer would not be available until after the qualifying matches for the Champions League, with Dynamo eager to keep him during this period to boost their chances of earning qualification to the main competition.
The second leg of the play-off round for the Champions League is scheduled to end on the 27th of August, so any transfer may need to wait until then to go through.
It has been said that the Ukrainian club are open to selling Vanat to a Premier League club, though, just not until after their Champions League campaign.
In his whole career at the Kyiv-based club, he has 48 goals in 110 appearances, which is not a bad return considering he is still up-and-coming.
Leeds chairman Paraag Marathe has previously outlined plans for the club to spend big following their return to the Premier League and Vanat could prove to be a young talent that is worth a gamble.
They have already been linked with older, more experienced Premier League talent, such as Callum Wilson, but may want to mix things up a little bit and bring in a relatively unknown prospect that has a lot of upside.
Joel Piroe has been the main striker for United this past season and has scored plenty of goals, with 19 in the league. Given that there are seemingly limited options off the bench in the forward department that are Premier League quality though, it could be a wise move for Daniel Farke to bring in some competition for the Dutchman.
