Real Madrid have booked thier place in the last four of the Copa del Rey, but only after edging a five-goal thriller against Leganes in Wednesday night's quarter-final.

First half strikes from Luka Modric and Endrick had a rotated Madrid side in a comofrtable lead after barely a quarter of the game had been played. But Leganes fought their way back into the tie, scoring either side of half-time through winger Juan Cruz.

There was a late Madrid onslaught to try and restore the lead, with substitute Gonzalo Garcia eventually having the defining impact by scoring a stoppage time header to win it.
