Moretto: Bonera on verge of being sacked again after Milan Futuro’s latest defeat

Milan Futuro suffered yet another very disappointing defeat over the weekend, and Daniele Bonera is now once again close to being sacked.
Earlier in the month, Matteo Moretto of Relevo reported that Bonera was ‘heading towards dismissal’ with the defeat against Lucchese ‘decisive’. However, no news arrived after that and he remained in the job.
As we reported after that game, despite the rumours of a possible imminent sacking the feeling is that Milan wanted to keep Bonera as long as possible. The management were willing to give him more time, but it is clear that further losses could lead to a change of heart.
Well, yesterday the Futuro suffered a very disappointing defeat against Pescara, losing 3-2 despite being 2-1 up in the second half. Just like the previous week, a red card ended up playing a key role in the outcome of the clash.
According to the latest from Matteo Moretto of Relevo on X, Bonera is ‘once again one step away from dismissal’ as the head coach of the Futuro, implying that we could expect an update soon.
The latest defeat means that Milan are 18th out of 20 teams in the league, with just four wins from their 28 games, and just 24 goals scored.
