PSG Poised to Join Arsenal, West Ham in Transfer Battle for €30M-Rated Club Brugge Star

PSG could be in a transfer battle this summer with Arsenal and West Ham. After finding success with Willian Pacho, who became the club’s first Ecuadorian player, could PSG be looking for someone of the same nationality?
The Parisians may boast the strongest defense in Ligue 1, but signs of wear and tear are starting to show after a long, demanding season. Lucas Hernandez is still trying to regain top form following his serious injury, and captain Marquinhos no longer has the same explosiveness he did in his early 20s.
Presnel Kimpembe remains an important figure off the pitch. However, he’s no longer seen as a reliable option in the short or medium term. As for Lucas Beraldo, Luis Enrique rates his profile highly, but the young defender still appears a bit too raw to be more than a backup for now.

On Tuesday, Foot Mercato reported that Club Brugge defender Joel Ordóñez is on PSG’s radar. The outlet claims that Luis Campos and his recruitment team have been closely monitoring the Ecuadorian international in recent weeks, watching him several times before making any formal move.
Moreover, the Belgian club reportedly asks for between €25 million and €30 million to let him go. PSG also face competition from Premier League clubs for this file, so they’ll need to act fast.
This month, it was reported that West Ham United are one club that has their sights set on Ordóñez. Meanwhile, last month, it was revealed that Arsenal are another team that have the defender on their radar this summer.
