Harry Kane (Bayern Munich), Bukayo Saka (Arsenal), Raphinha (Barcelona), Lamine Yamal (Barcelona) – 9

Harry Kane finished comfortably clear of the competition for goals and assists in 2023/24, as the Bayern Munich forward ended the campaign with 44 goal involvements on route to the European Golden Shoe.

The England captain has started his second season in Germany in similar form, averaging a goal or assist every 56 Bundesliga minutes. Arsenal winger and England teammate Bukayo Saka is also on nine, a haul that includes seven assists – the most in Europe’s top five leagues.

Barcelona duo Raphinha and Lamine Yamal also have nine goal involvements, having helped the Catalans to the top of the La Liga table.

Erling Haaland (Manchester City) – 10

Erling Haaland is the joint-leading scorer across Europe’s top five leagues with 10 goals from just seven games played.

The Norwegian is targeting a third consecutive Premier League Golden Boot, where he could become just the third player, after Alan Shearer and Thierry Henry, to achieve the feat. He’s yet to register an assist in the Premier League this season.

Cole Palmer (Chelsea) – 11

Cole Palmer led the Premier League for goal involvements (33) in 2023/24 during a brilliant breakout season at Chelsea.

Palmer’s picked up where he left off with six goals and five assists in seven games, a return that includes a record-breaking FOUR first-half goals in Chelsea’s 4-2 in over Brighton last month.

Robert Lewandowski (Barcelona) – 12

Hansi Flick’s appointment at Barcelona has brought out the best in Robert Lewandowski, who has rolled back the years under his former Bayern Munich boss.

The 36-year-old has 10 goals for the Spanish league leaders, level with Erling Haaland in the race for the European Golden Shoe. He’s averaged a La Liga goal every 74 minutes, including a hat-trick in the win over Alaves before the international break. Timeless.

Omar Marmoush (Eintracht Frankfurt) – 12

Omar Marmoush has been arguably the surprise package of the season so far with the Egyptian in electric form for Eintracht Frankfurt.

Marmoush scored 17 goals in all competitions during an impressive first season at Frankfurt in 2023/24, following his free transfer arrival from Wolfsburg. However, the 25-year-old has exploded in output during the season’s opening weeks, scoring eight goals and providing four assists in six Bundesliga games.
