FIFA have confirmed four official bids in contention to host the 2027 Women’s World Cup on Monday.

Following initial reports, the following federations have “expressed interest” in potentially hosting the tournament:

  1. Belgium/Netherlands/Germany
  2. Brazil
  3. South Africa
  4. United States/Mexico

Of the selection, the United States have hosted twice (1999 and 2003), while Germany hosted in 2011.

The next deadline for groups to voice their interest is May 19.

Voting will take place on 17 May 2024.
