Hansi Flick ready to ‘refuse’ any attempt by club to sell one Barcelona star | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has made clear to the powers that be at the club that he would under no circumstances be open to parting with star winger Raphinha.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Friday provided an insight into the situation.

Wide-man Raphinha, for his part, has of course spent the early weeks of the new season solidifying himself as one of the first names on the team sheet of new boss Hansi Flick.

Looking like a player reborn on the back of constant summer transfer links, the Brazilian has dazzled both in a central role, and out wide on the left.

As much has given rise to a haul of 11 direct goal contributions across all competitions, by way of six goals, and five assists.

As per the aforementioned Sport, what previously looked a strong possibility in Raphinha being shipped off over the summer, now looks all but ruled out.

The only scenario in which it is suggested that such a scenario could play out would be in the case of the Blaugrana reigniting their pursuit of Athletic Club star Nico Williams.

Even then, however, it is reiterated that:

‘The club would face Hansi Flick’s complete refusal.’
