As far as the Premier League is concerned, Tottenham have nothing to play for this season.
However, when it comes to the Europa League, Spurs are fighting to win the competition.
Considering how the 1st legs of the Europa League semifinals were played, Spurs and Manchester United are widely expected to make it to the final.
Bodo/Glimt and Athletic Club cannot be written off yet though but the odds are highly in favour of both Tottenham and Man United.
The only issue for Spurs could be that they may have to play the Europa League final without one of their best players.
Tottenham suffered a significant setback as midfielder James Maddison is expected to miss the remainder of the season due to a knee injury sustained during the Europa League semi-final first-leg victory over Bodo/Glimt.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Maddison is likely to miss the rest of the season due to a knee injury.
The injury comes at a crucial period for Spurs, who are aiming to secure their first major trophy since 2008.
Maddison’s absence will be keenly felt as Spurs prepare for the second leg in Norway.
In addition to Maddison, Tottenham are also dealing with injuries to other key players.

Forward Dominic Solanke, who also missed the recent 1-1 draw against West Ham, is showing signs of improvement and may be available for the upcoming fixture but midfielder Lucas Bergvall has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to an ankle ligament injury sustained in training.
Despite these challenges, Postecoglou remains optimistic about his squad’s chance to win silverware this season.
As far as Postecoglou’s job is concerned at the club, it is reportedly uncertain at the moment with Fulham manager Marco Silva being linked with the North London club.
