Athletic Club star Nico Williams spoke to L’Équipe, touching on several topics, including his team’s ambitions in the Europa League. Down 2-1 on aggregate, the Basque side will face-off against Roma in the return leg of the decisive knockout clash on Thursday.
“Winning the Europa League? Capturing such an important trophy with the club I love would be the ultimate achievement,” Williams told the newspaper.

Williams’ words reflect the Spanish side’s determination ahead of their crucial clash with the Giallorossi, as they aim to go all the way in Europe’s second-biggest competition.
