FC Barcelona are working against the clock to solve the issue of the registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor, as they have only two days left to conclude this operation.
After the setback of the denial of their request to keep these players registered under a precautionary ruling, there was positive news for the Blaugrana fans yesterday as the Catalan club was able to reach an agreement with a Dubai-based company for exploitation rights to a part of the VIP seats of the Spotify Camp Nou.
These seats are valued at €100 million in total, and a fraction of this amount has already been obtained by the club with this deal. Now, according to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are looking to sell the rest of the VIP seats package as well, and if they are able to do so, they will return to the 1:1 status.
Returning to this status will allow the Catalan club to spend every Euro they generate in revenue or through salary savings to be invested in new signings. Such a change in status will make it significantly easier for the sporting department to undertake operations in the market.
For now, the part of the seating package that has been sold to the Dubai-based company is still not enough to get Dani Olmo registered with La Liga. That is why there is a sense of urgency at the club to sell the rest of the seating package as soon as possible.
President Laporta has already returned to Barcelona from his tour to the Middle East as he intends to close the deal from the Catalan capital. Hopefully, the Blaugranes will be able to finalize the sale of the rest of the seats in the two days that they still have in hand to get these two players registered.
