Four members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona are currently due to see their terms with the club expire in the summer.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have on Wednesday provided an insight into the situation.
The subject of player registration has of course dominated the headlines in Catalunya’s capital across the day to date.
This comes after the deadline for the respective registrations of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor with La Liga came and passed without news.
Turning attentions towards the summer, though, which members of Hansi Flick’s squad, as things stand, are due to see their deals run out?
As per the aforementioned MD, four players are currently in this situation, namely Robert Lewandowski, Iñigo Martínez, Gerard Martín, and Wojciech Szczęsny.
In the case of the first two, the decision has already been made to exercise one-year renewal options, whilst a new long-term contract has been drawn up for defender Martín.
This leaves just goalkeeper Szczęsny, whose future in Barcelona beyond the close of the campaign is likely to depend upon the recovery progress of sidelined Blaugrana no.1 Marc-André ter Stegen.
